The Rebel Baker is a pioneering baking brand focused on creating extraordinary “Free From” treats that defy conventions around dietary-restricted products.
This project aims to change the perception of foods made for special dietary needs by proving that dietary restrictions never need to mean sacrificing flavour. Key project outcomes include development of an innovative Free From collection that joins the Rebel Bakes lineup, creation of unique product labelling featuring hanging signs that highlight flavours and correspond with package colours, establishment of a brand identity that challenges misconceptions about restricted diets, and delivery of exceptional taste experiences accessible to everyone regardless of dietary preferences or restrictions.

The Rebel Baker boldly challenges conventional baking norms through both its philosophy and visual identity.
Our brand philosophy involves fearlessly defying convention and sparking rebellion against ordinary treats, believing that exceptional taste knows no dietary limits. Our logo features playful typographic transformations: the ‘e’ in “rebel” transforms into a mouthwatering cake, symbolising our passion for extraordinary confections, while the ‘e’ in “baker” resembles the motion of mixing and whisking cake batter, showcasing our creative approach.
We’re committed to pushing boundaries in the “Free From” space by meticulously selecting high-quality ingredients to create products that celebrate flavour, texture, and culinary ingenuity. At our core is the belief that dietary restrictions should never be a barrier to indulgence. Our products challenge expectations by uniting culinary creativity with dietary inclusivity.
I have had the pleasure of working with Mick on various projects over the past few years. He has been instrumental in developing the branding for my coffee shop, horse box business, and most recently, my new free from bakery.
